Their story begins just short of 7 years ago when their then managing director Angie came upon the bright idea to begin producing crisps.
She had already begun the production of rapeseed oil in a dedicated unit using oil seed rape from the Quex Park Estate in East Kent, and seeing the abundance of potatoes from the estate felt that crisp production was the next thing...Everyone loves crisps!
After many hours in the office Angie would return home after a full day with different varieties of potatoes which she and her husband would then thinly slice and then fry with the aim of achieving the perfect crisp which indeed they did!
